Aniimo Mounts and Twining: What Is Confirmed
Twining and creature-based movement abilities are confirmed in Aniimo’s official descriptions. A separate riding system and the steps for unlocking it or activating Twining have not been verified in the sources checked here.
Twining lets a Pathfinder use a collected creature’s abilities. The official description advertises gliding, diving and burrowing while exploring Idyll; this does not mean every Aniimo is a rideable mount.
Confirmed examples
| Aniimo | Official field or ability | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Celestis | Climb Lv.1; Fly Lv.1 | Player unlock quest or riding animation |
| Infergon | Fly Lv.2; Bilateral mobility mode | Saddle item or mount-unlock requirement |
| Pawney | Hookshot: aims and pulls toward a struck wall or enemy | Universal grappling access for all creatures |
| Grizbo | Head Hammer launches a shock wave | Rideability or travel speed |
These examples come from individual official index pages. They are selected ability references, not a ranked mount list.
Riding versus Twining
A rideable creature carries the player; Twining is described as becoming the creature and using its skills. The two terms should not be used interchangeably. Screenshots of large creatures or flight do not by themselves show which control mode is being used.
Unlocks and requirements
The official sources checked here do not settle whether a separate riding system exists or give the actual quest or progression requirement for activating Twining. These details are not established by the descriptions and creature entries cited here. The January beta preview describes movement tied to stamina, but that observation cannot supply final release conditions.
Until those details are established, use each creature’s official entry to identify a capability and the actual client instructions to learn its activation. See creatures for the selected name index.
